Our Commitment to Donors
Climbing Together Inc. is grateful for every gift. Each contribution helps us provide essential resources and financial education to people who need them most. This policy explains how donations are received, used, and protected.

Tax-Deductible Status
Climbing Together Inc. is a Florida 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult a tax professional regarding your specific situation.

Donation Receipts
Every donor receives a receipt for their records. For any single gift of $250 or more, Climbing Together provides a written acknowledgment that meets IRS requirements. If you receive goods or services in exchange for a gift of more than $75, such as an event ticket or meal, your receipt will state the estimated value of those goods or services, since only the amount above that value is tax-deductible.

How Donations Are Used
Donations support our mission of providing essential resources, community referrals, and financial education. Climbing Together directs funds where the need is greatest. When a donor designates a gift for a specific program or purpose, we make every reasonable effort to honor that request. If a designated program is fully funded or no longer available, the gift will be applied to a similar purpose within our mission.

In-Kind Donations
Climbing Together gladly accepts donations of food, hygiene products, clothing, and other essential items. We may decline items that are expired, damaged, unsafe, or unable to be used by the people we serve. Climbing Together provides receipts for in-kind donations but does not assign a dollar value to donated items. Donors are responsible for determining the value of their gifts for tax purposes.

Refund Policy
All donations are final and nonrefundable. If a donation was made in error, such as a duplicate charge or an incorrect amount, please contact us within 30 days at [email protected], and we will review your request promptly.

Recurring Donations
Donors may change or cancel recurring donations at any time through the donation platform or by contacting [email protected]. Changes take effect before the next scheduled payment when received in time.

Donor Privacy
Climbing Together does not sell, rent, trade, or share donor information with other organizations. Donor information is used only to process gifts, provide receipts, and share updates about our work. Donors may request to give anonymously or to be removed from our mailing lists at any time.

Payment Security
Online donations are processed through a secure third-party donation platform. Climbing Together does not store credit card or bank account information.

Sponsorships and Partnerships
Businesses and organizations interested in sponsoring an event or program may contact [email protected]. Sponsorship benefits, such as recognition on our website or at events, will be outlined in writing before any commitment is made.
